Post 2008 XC90 3.2L AWD Purge/Emissions Vent Valve location?

I recently discovered that my Evaporative Emissions System Vent Valve is stuck closed. I purchased a new valve/solenoid but the only online sources I can find as to where the vent/purge valve is located pertain to the V8 model of my 2008 XC90, not the 3.2L. As the engine and compartment are not the same, I have been having trouble locating the valve on my 3.2L model.

Any tips as to where it is located and the lest-intrusive way to get it out would be much appreciative (I am currently working with minimal tools).

Thanks,

Atch

My guess is its attached to the fan shroud on the left (drivers) side up top. You should see an electrical connector and two vacuum lines - one that goes to the engine, the other all the way back to the cannister. Valve opens and engine sucks all the trapped fuel vapors into the intake.

Thank you for the response mt6127!

I've been called away for work so I won't be able to check it out for at least a month, but once I get back and can get eyes on I'll update what I find.

Cheers.
