Looking at a 2011 XC90 with the 3.2 V6 posted on Craig's List. Wife got it in a divorce, needs money, blah, blah, blah. Excellent shape. Wants $1900. Sounds like a scam.
Haven't seen the car yet, but I definitely will run a Carfax report (once I get the VIN) and will have a pre-purchase inspection done.
The car has 95,000 miles. Are there persistent problems with this year for this car, engine, and transmission? Also, does this engine use a timing belt? The Volvo maintenance schedule (https://volvornt.harte-hanks.com/man...nty-Manual.pdf) says nothing about a timing belt replacement for the V6.
Any advice will be much appreciated.

Ha! Never mind. It was a scam.
"I recently divorced from my ex-husband. We sold the house and I took the kids and moved back with my parents, in Omaha...Before leaving I had prearranged the deal with eBay Motors so my presence isn't necessary...The vehicle is at the shipping company, ready to be delivered. I will pay for the shipping cost and charges of the vehicle! You got 5 days to test and inspect the vehicle."
Same old same old. It's almost if there is a published script they follow.
