Hi -

I am a long time Volvo owner. Still have (and love) my '91 240 wagon. My second V70xc AWD is on the way out. I loved how the V70's drove when they were working. Nothing but problems with both post 100k miles. (turbo issues, two bad transfer cases, throttle body position sensors, to name a few.)

Now, we are looking at a 2011 XC90 with about 70k on the clock. Love everything about it aesthetically, but I don't want to be fixing the thing all the time. I have heard mixed reviews on reliability. R-spec. V6 engine.

Can anyone offer some insight on this model / year? Are there any known major issues on these, mechanical or otherwise? Things to watch out for?
