2011 xc90 new headliner and now airbag error light
Just had the headliner replaced Saturday. On the drive home I realized that the airbag light was on and there was a message in the message center. Can this be caused by the headliner installer unplugging something and then replugging back in or do you think something was left unplugged? Trying to figure out if I can just order a code reader and reset it myself or if I need to get the car into the shop. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Possibly a curtain air bag was unplugged with the battery connected. If it was reconnected, a scan and clear with a compatible scanner should turn the warning off.
