2014 3.2 transmissin shudder after valve body replace
So, I recently bought a 150K mi. 2014 xc90. It was shifting a bit rough, and having been through this with my xc90, I decided to just bite the bullet and buy a new valve body
and after having a shop install that they showed me the black "lifetime" trans fluid that they drained and I resolved to change it as completely as possible at my next opportunity.
So now it shifts great, but I have this "shudder". Never did that before, so this is a new symptom. I've gone ahead and purchased a case of WS fluid, thinking that they changed 5 quarts already, and this will be 17 quarts total changed, and that should clean it up, but I'm wondering: Will this cure my shudder"
It only does it occasionally on gentle acceleration, never when I nail it, only when pulling away from a stop. It doesn't appear on the tach that it slips at all.
What do you think? Worth throwing a case of WS Aisin trans fluid at it to see if that fixes it? Is this a common symptom of bad fluid?
