I want to buy an XC90 with the most modern Pilot Assist, BLIS with Steering Assistance, rear collision, cross traffic but at the lowest price.

Does a 2016 XC90 have the exact same safety hardware as a 2018 after you upgrade the software (not just does it have the same features but are those features via the exact same hardware on the vehicle)? How can I confirm this?

If the answer is yes, is his hardware identical to a 2019 XC40 (obviously fully loaded) or 2018 XC60?
