I took delivery of my 2016 XC90 this past week. After driving it a few days I have noticed something unusual. The odometer has less miles than the Trip M. The Odometer shows 273 miles and the TM shows 294.3 mi. When I bought it they were the same. Anyone else notice this?

 

Hi Chilman. I have the same problem (vehicle bought April 6, 2016), where TM is greater than the ODO.???

difference was almost 42 KM after only 225 km of driving. Dealer has no idea.

Do you have different tire size than spec'd with car?

I had the same issue. I saw the odometer dropped from 200 to 190 during drive.

I sent my car to my local dealer. My technician told me he had to contact Volvo. It has been 5 days and no answer from dealer yet.

 

Volvo has had this TM vs. ODO issue now for over a month. Basically, they have no idea. I am taking my XC90 to the dealer, and requesting that they check the ODO and TM calibration to confirm both are accurate. Volvo has agreed to do this. Will keep you updated what they find.

 

Hmmmm, maybe keep quiet about this one... could be good for resale!
