Figured this would save anyone time and money. My car squeals when I accelerate and continues as it idles. When the car cools down the noise doesn’t start again until the engine heats up. I was worried it was the pulley system or timing belt. Lo and behold it’s the oil trap.

 

I just replaced mine, squeal is gone, and so is the CEL (I had to disconnect the battery for a bit)
