I’m in the market for a new (used) SUV and considering a 2018 CPO XC90. Along with everybody else in the world, I really like the look and feel of the car. I’ve had Acura’s, Honda’s, and Lexus’s in the past which have proven to be bulletproof and very low maintenance. Can anybody share their experience with their 3+ year old XC90 and your thoughts on longer-term ownership? I think I’d have more peace of mind in an MDX, especially with a proven power train, but trying to be open minded.

 

I'm in the same boat but already purchased a 2018 CPO XC90 T6. I traded out of a 2013 BMW535I that was a great car with little issues. I've owned several Audi's and BMW's over the years and wanted to try a Volvo. We also liked the looks of the XC90 and it's a vehicle that you don't see on every road and street corner. The unit I purchased had 24,800 miles so I'm hopeful that this unit does as well as my prior BMW. I never liked how Japanese cars handled and Volvo feels closer to the German cars that I was use to. I just got a 2018 CPO XC90 and agree with all your reasons why you want one. I think the CPO piece is huge and was a big selling point for me. Can’t speak to the other models, I was a Jeep girl til now lol but never had trouble with them and hoping for the same on my Volvo!
