2019 XC90 Reliability and Maintenance cost
Hi, my wife and I are thinking of purchasing XC90. We have a Mercedes 2012 GL450 and annual maintenance(oil change and alignment) is about $1k and $1 to 2k in other repairs. Could someone share how owning the second generation XC90 is like, maintenance and reliability wise? thank you!

I have a 2016 xc90, that was the first year of the retrofit into the xc90 of today.
All i have had to do so far is oil and breaks, the rear breaks do wear a bit quicker then average but nothing crazy. Volvo suggests oil changes every 16,000km (10,000m) which is the longest I've ever heard of. I make sure to bring mine in early rather than late.
Next to that its been rock solid. i would recommend it, although I went from Infinity I cant offer much comparison to Mercedes.
If you're a highway driver i recommend getting autopilot, its awesome and Volvo says they'll keep updating it.
