Hi everyone!

Just picked up our new 21 T8 Inscription a month ago.

I couldn't find anything in the manual on this. Question on the "Engine charges hybrid battery" function. I have trouble understanding why this button even exists. Reason being, it tells me if the battery is empty and the engine is running, the engine does NOT charge the battery unless I activate this function. Or does the engine charge the battery when running? Then maybe the button serves the purpose of simply being able to activate a engine charge in a scenario when it wouldn't?

The engine does not charge the HV battery when running unless that button is turned on.
