My daytime running lights are not coming on automatically like they are supposed to. They will come on manually if I turn them on.
I have the control switch set to auto and the daytime running lights button is check marked in the center console control area. I don’t know what I am doing wrong.

 

Just taking a stab at this one, but in the vehicles setting, can the DRL's be deactivated? In our other vehicles you could turn them on and off in the vehicle settings...

 

You can turn them off, but they were not turned off, they were on in the settings.

I went to the dealership and they couldn’t figure it out either. They contacted Volvo and still couldn’t figure it out. Finally the rep from Volvo told the mechanic to do a software update and that fixed it.

 

Glad that fixed it.
With Software there are always strange glitches.
