We are about to purchase our second XC90. We have a 2005 2.5 that I put 245/65/R16 Toyo Open Country all terrain tires on it. My question is, will these tires fit on the new XC90? (the tires will be 18 not 16 as the wheel size is different on the V8)

We live in the country, and having all terrain high mileage tires is important. We love the Open Country's that are on our 2005 and I am really hoping that we can use the same setup.

I find that US XC90 forums are pretty dead compared to the UK ones. They gots the D5 = desiel 5 cyl engine that makes up for 75% of the users there. If a immediate answer is neeeded search those forums.

To answer you question: If it worked on your old XC90, i would not see why it wouldnt work on the new(er) one, Its the same minus the engines
