255/55R18 Tires Option
Guys,
I want to install All Terrain tires on my XC90, I have the original rims 235/60R18 and I've read that some people have successfully changed their tires to 255/55R18 without issues and some warned against it as it would rub on full lock, so far I've found 50-50 answers.
I would like a confirmation if someone have tried to mount that tire size on their original rims and if they have experienced any rubbing or any other issues (is it good for the transmission?).
I am looking into General Grabber AT2 - 255/55R18 109H XL and
Nitto Terra Grappler AT - 255/55R18 109S XL
We get plenty of snow in Canada

I finally went for it and installed 255/55R18 and no rubbing what so ever. They look nice too
