I've just started experiencing problems with one of my XC90's 2nd row seats (its 22 months old/7 seater model).

On pulling a handle on the seat's backrest and pulling the back rest forwad, the backrest should lock in a position of 60 degrees and if you continue pushing the backrest forward the whole seat slides forward. This enables access to the 3rd row of seats.

The problem I'm having is that the backrest is not catching at 60 degrees but instead is folding flat, making access to the third row a two handed job instead of a one handed one. Not easy with a child in arms!

- Has anyone experienced the same problem?
- Was it covered under Volvo's warranty

If it is under normal factory warranty.It will be covered no problem.Sometimes they had a problem with one of the cables in the seat.
