After unlocking the SUV and opening the passenger door my alarm went of briefly (5 seconds maybe), but that was the end of it. Now I have a warning light telling me "Alarm System Service Required". I have read posts regarding re-closing all of the doors, trunks, and hoods with no success. I also read that it could be a battery issue (Low voltage or something like that), but I have not really seen any difference in the way that the SUV starts or operates. So are there anymore suggestions of things to try? I have booked a appt to have the alarm looked at, but I am asking with hopes that there might be something that works and save myself the time and the money related to the service.
