Hi! I'mam wondering if any of you have serviced this area of your xc90's yet? Specifically the angle gear and rear differential. I just passed the 50k mileage mark, and am getting the vehicle prepared for the next 50k.
My Vadis program is of little or no help in this area. It lists fluids by Volvo part #, but does not list viscosity or specs. It doesn't even show the procedure for servicing the units.
Can anyone help?

Our XC-90 has been serviced by the dealer we bought it from since new. We just passed the 65K markand had it back tothem for their recommendedmore extensive 60K mileinterval maintenance a month or two ago.

There was no mention of any servicing of the rear differential during that maintenance visit or at any time before that. Sorry I'm not more help, but there was no mention of servicing or a need to service the rear diff so far on our XC90.
