Hello ! I would like to upgrade my audio system for my 07 xc90, with an App radio, navigation and rear view camera. Any thoughts or ideas? thanks so much !

 

The app radio 1 and 2 are definitely NOT good radios. Both come without a CD player to start. Secondly, both radios are extremely slow and do not operate well AT ALL. The first time I plugged my iPhone 4s to the app-radio 2 on out display wall, the unit made my phones keyboard disappear leaving me to restart my phone.

They do however have the app-radio 3 available now. This unit does comes with a CD/DVD player if you choose (app-radio 3 without CD/DVD player also available for $100 less) The app-radio 3 is also a LOT more responsive, handles iPhone 5, supports video from the iPhone to the radio, and doesn't glitch when it comes to apps installed on the radio. I've personally installed 4 so far and i can say i'm impressed. You WILL need special cables specific to the type of phone you have to make it work correctly (sold separately) but in the end, definitely a very good radio.
