Default Black bar on navigation screen?

Hi all, I just bought a new XC90 T5 AWD with all options. Wondering if anyone has ever seen this issue with the black bar taking over most of the navigation screen. I have taken it to the dealer numerous times and they have even had their regional tech try to repair the problem to no avail.

The issue occurs after a cold start but only sporadically. I turn the car on, wait for navigation to load, select it once it is available, then shift into drive whereby the black bar suddenly pops up and stays on throughout my drive. It does look like a similar dimension to the reverse camera view which may or may not be part of the issue. They have already replaced the computer, the screen and multiple harnesses but are of course unable to replicate or fix. It does not happen very often but with only 2000 miles on the car in three months, it has happened 5 times (and been in service for ~30 days)! Obviously this is frustrating...

Appreciate your thoughts! Thanks.

Have you fixed the issue? I got the same issue from the day 1. It happened while I was taking the car home from a dealership about 400 miles away about a year ago.
The dealership nearby updated the software back then and I thought the issue was gone. Recently I start seeing the same issue again. I use the navigation very rarely and that's why I see it now.

I have the same issue from day 1. Also, on a demo drive another car, S90 had the same issue. Have they figured out how to fix it?

The dealership updated the navigation (sensus?) software again sometime in May. Since then, I used navigation ~10 times to see if the issue still exists. So far so good, but I need more time to get full confidence.

I have a 2020 V60 R-Design that is a year old with the same intermittent problem. They did a reload of the software and we didn't see the black square for about 6-8 months till this past weekend. It's Back...And then it was gone. When I took it in last year Volvo national service told the dealer tech to show me how to record a fault while it was happening. So I did record it this time. Last time I took a picture. I have an appointment for next week for them to read the history. It this happens to you here is what they told me to do to record the event.
Press and hold the two buttons on either side of the volume **** till you see the message that it is recording the fault. Then contact the dealer. So far....This is all I know.
Did you ever get this fixed???? Glad to know anything you have learned.
Thanks
Mike
