I was told that when you put a different cd player other than the original that you would have to take it to the dealer to have it programmed.Well I ordered one on ebay from the same year as my xc90, a 2004 T6. I matched up the model numbers as close as I could.To my great relief it works just fine.I had bought a brand new one and swapped out the circuit board but that did not work.Considering the dealer wanted 12 to 1400 just to replace it.Just wanted to spread that info because I have read many times that you have to have it programmed.I will also be posting on how I swapped out my light bulbs in my climate control for LED's.
