Codes P043E and P0190 Running rough! 2008 XC90 3.2
Did some forum searching but found nothing....
Wife's car came home after a short trip running in what seemed to be limp mode. Two codes were set, the P0190 I knew about and has been coming and going for a few months (too lazy to change the sensor). The P043E came up this time, but I wouldn't think a leak detect pump code would cause it to run like poo. Am I wrong? I couldn't find anything on-line that remotely gave me any info. I ordered the pump and I will change the sensor today, now that I don't have much choice! We shall see I suppose.
Anyone have thoughts on this? Thanks all. My first post in 9 years, I mostly haunt the place when I need info. Car has about 150k on it.

How old and what brand are the spark plugs?
Almost new OE plugs. Did them early this year when I had a coil go down.
I pulled the fuel rail today to change the sensor. What a stupid idea to place the sensor where you cannot get to the hold-down bolt unless you pull the rail, at least on the 3.2 liter. Now I need orings (most are iffy to use again) and I did find the top cap of one of the injectors was missing and the oring and seat were still in the head. So, now I need an injector. But, I won't find out if my problem goes away until all of this is buttoned up. The LDP is coming tomorrow.
Car has been super reliable up to now so I can't complain. I do nearly 98% of my own work so there's that too. Doesn't owe me much. More to come as I get the parts. Any insight is certainly welcome. Thanks.

Just a follow up...
New injector orings, top and bottom, and one new injector, pressure sensor and rail spacers. No problems putting it back on. Then the new LDP, drop the spare tire, it's right there, install new one and then fired her up. Started fine, no leaks, but the rough running was there. THIS TIME, it set a code for the #4 cylinder misfire. My gut feeling from the beginning was correct, another coil. What's got me scratching my head is the fact that the first time it did not set a code, and between my wife driving 5 miles back to the house and me running it for at least another 10 minutes, it never set the code!? I'm doubting that the LDP even needed to be changed, but after 150k and nearly nothing ever replaced, I'm fine with spending the 70 bucks. Funny, I bought an aftermarket one from Amazon, supposedly made in China, but when I pulled it out of the box it said Bosch, made in France, right on it. I'll take it!
