Default Crank no start

My Volvo xc90 54 plate has been struggling to start recently and has a bit of smoke for a few seconds then clears
but last week I took it out was sat in a car park and it just died and wouldn’t start
I’ve had someone plug it in and it was saying low fuel pressure
wheres the best place to start?

start with an OBD2 scan of any stored codes. Low fuel pressure when? at start? that can be caused by a few things, including the pump, a leaky injector, a leaky pressure regulator (2004 and older ) fuel pressure relay, failing pressure sensor (2005+) Given the smoke at start up, that may point to a leaky injector flooding one cylinder. you may want to also consider pulling the spark plugs and smell for gas etc.
