Hello,

Some months ago, I was driving from Tucson back to Phoenix using the cruise control. As I pressed on the brakes and the cruise control button to turn it off, the cruise control would not disengage. Repeatedly, I pressed the brakes and the cruise control button till it finally turned off. Since then, it has not worked.
So far, I have changed the brake pedal switch and the cruise control switch on the steering wheel, but still no success.
Here is a picture of the codes from my ECU. Seems like there is a lost of signal from my brake pedal switch and Vehicle Speed Sensor A.

What way should I go to restore signal between these parts and the ECU? Is there possibility of a lost of ground between these parts and the Brake Control Module?

 

A commom failure is with the BCM. The vehicle Speed signal comes from that module. Cracked solder connections the the module are common and can cause cruise control problems.
