CV Axles. What fits and what doesn't?

I have a 2004 volvo xc90 AWD. the right front boot on the axle shaft has gone bad. I'm pretty sure the axle shaft itself will probably need replacing soon too. I tried replacing the boot on the left side and that was not ideal and I ended up just getting a whole "new" axle shaft. I can't seem to find a junkyard with a 2004 xc90 awd in the area to pull from, or anything decent and used online for that year, make model, engine etc. I was wondering if a axle shaft from a fwd xc90 would work, And or what years and engine could I pull an axle shaft from that would fit?
