Just bought a new 2005 XC90 V8... and love it (so far)! Question for you guys... did your XC90 come with the roof rack load carriers (e.g. horizontal bars that mount to the vertical rails on the roof)? Pg. 108 of my owner manual talks about positioning these when they are not in use as if they were issued standared with the vehicle... but my new car didn't come with them. Did yours?

No. They are a $200.00 option from the dealer. The owners manual has discussions on a number of items that are not included on the cars as shipped to the US. Most of these items can be purchased from dealers. Jeep Grand Cherokees also show the cross bars in the manual, but only the Overland includes them as standard equipment.
