Hello,

I have noticed for a while that when I go under my 2003 Volvo XC90 54K, I see some oil sweating on the black splash guard. When i take it off there is more sweating. It's not a big leak but I am wondering where it is coming from and how can i fix it. I tried to switch to 10w 30 because i thought maybe 530 was too light. But that did not do the job. When i look around the bottom of the engine there is not visible leaks.

I would clean it all up really good then take it for a good ride then check it agian.

 

mine had the same prob....the angle gear's seals were worn out and needed replacement...3 rings to be exact
