Finding driveshaft replacements 2012 auto 147, 2.4
I’m having real trouble finding a replacement drivers-side driveshaft. The part number I got from Volvo specs the wrong part (it’s 1 inch too short) but the spines are right. I tried a longer version (which is right but the spines are the wrong diameter, by 1/8).
How do I work out which one to get? I can’t seem to find an alternative online
if you shop at a Volvo dealer web store, you should be able to see the volvo part numbers and applications. Then you can google for after-market or rebuilt replacements. You may need to check your VIN as there may be a "parts break" by serial number etc. Check out this URL - you can see there's multiple applications for your year
