Hi everyone!

I have a 2004 XC90, and since I bought it the radio and Moon Roof haven't worked.

The radio will turn on and on occasion and operate correctly, but I have never been able to revive any power from the moon roof console on the roof of the car. Lately, the radio has been working somewhat fine (the display screen never powers on, but the radio will play), but randomly it will suddenly cut out with a popping noise. I will hear some noises that might be the dvd player (that's what it sounds like) and then it will power back on. It probably does this 6 or 7 times in my 10 minutes drive in the morning.

I want to fix it, but don't know where to start. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

start with a wiring diagram (google around for one) and look for any common ground points. You can also pull connectors and clean the pins/sockets with electronics cleaner and refit. Have you checked the fuses for the roof?
