Fluid Changes
Hello all, I want to have all the fluids changed in my 2010 XC90. My indie just called me and told me that the dealer told him:
1. They never change the transfer case or front diff fluids.
2. There is a special part made for this but it is not sold to indie's.
3. They only will drain and fill the transmission and the rear diff.
I would like to know from the mech's and anyone else that has either had this done or know where I can go to have it done near Washington DC?
Thanks in advance.

The angle gear, AOC and rear differential do not have a service interval. There isn't even a drain plug on them. Sure, you can have most of the fluid sucked out and refilled, but it is usually not necessary.
The AOC is the only one I might suggest having done, since the screen on the pump does get clogged and there is a filter in there.

Thanks! What is the AOC?
