my 2006 xc90 gives a clicking noise or clunking sound when the brake pedal is pressed almost like the abs is checking it self on those north american cars .....if you know what i meen .......it sounds like the break pad hitiing the rotor ...so i went to a service garage not a volvo garage but everything was tight it seems . some times i hear it in both front sides of the xc90volvo and sometimes just on one side ....................any sugestions?

 

Do you have aftermarket brakes on it? I have seen some after market pads click, because they are loose in the saddle.
