Default Headlights

I have a 2004 XC90. there seems to be a haze inside the clear headlight covers. Is there a way to take the clear plastic covers off and clean the inside if them without damage? Please advise. Thanks

If it's the same haze that I and others have had develop, it's on the outside and it can be polished off. I used Mother's plastic polish. If it's real bad use the powerball with the polish. Works well.

Before you do to much, it is covered under warranty. I found that out just after my warranty ended.

Do a search on "light bar cleaner" I'm not sure who makes it but I have used it alot for emergency vehicle lightbars that get the "haze." The stuff I used before was a two part cleaner then polish. Get both they work great and fast.

Prior to purchasing my 2004, I had a haze/cloudy on the headlights and the dealer polished almost allof it off. Some still remains on the top of the headlights. I have tried cleaning them withZainos plastic cleanerand that has not worked.

Since it's noteffecting the lighting, beacuse of the location of the haze, would the dealer still replace?

I did not know they would or not, I just ask the adviser at the dealer about how to clean it and he told me they would change it. I have the HID light so they actual replaced the whole light units(both of them).
