Default HID lights Canbus-ballast constant failure

Greetings fellow XC-9r's,

My son took my XC-90 , 2004 , to get HID installed on my "low-beams",
for my Birthday , ' but' the Ballasts "Canbus" supposedly the " Better if not the " best",the Shop says "doesn't know the reason.
They installed a "relay-kit" to fix, but still "replac'n them 2 a week.
Luckily, the Shop warranties the Ballasts, but I'm sure "not for very long"
So far 12 have been replaced, I also had the "fog-lites" replaced with a -

matching type of "lite" and had 2 " light-strips" installed in the 2 "vent type-

openings" in front, and the also replaced the "white light " in the Light-housing,also with a "same type of light" . Must admit 8 lights"in front"
looks awsome, but I'm sure , no reason for Ballast-failure, Any Ideas any-one?

So this is an aftermarket kit? 8 lights in front? Sounds tacky in my opinion.

If you're worry about hitting a moose or keep on replacing the ballasts. I rather hit the moose. :P Aftermarket HID Kits doesn't go very well with these cars, like aftermarket remote starts. Though it can be possible, it's a matter doing your research. I won't be able to tell you because it's too long to write it down, and I can only write small paragraphs. :P

Default HID failure

Thanks to all on reply's,

I know there must be a "remedy" ,maybe find'n someone w/ the same-
problem or that"knows" of this problem.
8 lights that "look" HID are great and get compliments and makes my -
O'l ,2004 " look current.
The HID kit was only for the "low-beams",
The 2 LED lite-strips were installed the the XC,vent looking deals below-
the Lights.
The Fog-lite bulbs were replaces with LED's
And the Plastic Light enclosures"housing the high and low beams" has a -
White-lite "factory made" next to the Park'nlites, also LED white.
And w/ the Volvo Custom Bra , all looks good, I think better than the -
BMW's and Mercedes's "lite-show" I get noth'n but compliments.
I keep it clean and purdy, gett'n gas the other-day and behind an '07-
XC, and they thought mine was " newer", no, I tell'em, just and 'ol 04.
Any thanks all and maybe someone, someday might have a remedy.
