I have a 2004 Volvo XC90 T6 granted it has had its fair share of problems tranny, engine small electrical problems. I have 87K on it right now im looking to keep it for at least 200-250K I am great when it comes to changing oil and other preventive maintance, my family has had cars where the chassis have rusted out from years and years of use by the time we got rid of them. My question is this car is it seen having high milage and running? now ik it wont run as it did brand new but i want it to be running good till 250K.

 

Running good? Sure, why not. Replace what breaks and you can keep anything running just about forever. My 960 shows now signs of wearing out at 260,000 miles. My XC90 T6 is still going great and I would expect to keep it even after I buy either a new one or an XC60 next summer.
