I just purchased a 2005 XC90 T6 with 98,000 miles preowned from a Volvo dealer. It is a great looking car in mint condition so I purchased it without doing much research. Now I realize the major problems with the transmissions in these cars. Can anyone tell me if there is a way I can look and see if it still has the original Tranny or if it has a replacement. Im just curious and concerned how soon it will be before I need a tranny replacement. Thanks for the help! Any other advice on this car would be great as well!!

hmm... well if it looks shiny-er than usual on the pan, it has probably had it, not to be a smart a**, but it will look new. But, unfortunately, that does not matter, I would still be countin' them days...

Hope you bought some kind of warranty, sorry.
