Just ordered 2017 XC90 T6 Inscription for euro delivery
After taking a day off to check out the Q7, X5, GLS450, Range Rover Sport and XC90....we ordered a 2017 T6 Inscription with everything but the heads up display for delivery in Europe in Q1 2017. This is our first Volvo and we are stunned by the quality of car...considered the T8 but didn't see the need. This also marked the first time I have ever paid sticker for a car - sure there was 3.5% taken off for accepting delivery in Sweden, but I consider that cost lost in the trip. First off...are people able to get discounts of any sort for similar spec cars in the US. Second...is there anything anyone recommend I do to my order to make this wait less painful. Or any advice for a first time Volvo owner...thanks
Wow - just read as many posts as I could - seems I just paid $68k for a coding error with wheels that will leak in the rain, stop by itself in a puddle on the highway and generally **** me off. Didn't care for the Q7...this seemed better by the Volvo forums are certainly casting doubt.
I wouldn't worry too much. First, the happy owners don't take the time to go to the various forums to report no issues. Yes, there have been a lot of software issues. But there are also plenty with no issues.
Second, the issues that have come up are being addressed and should easily be worked out by that time. The sunroof leak, for example, has been fixed with a design change.
