HiMy 2006 XC90 has issue with rear side lights. Headlights come on but rears don't I have tried new bulbs and using multi meter have tested the holder. Anyone have any idea where to go next or had same issue

 

Are those what we call the parking lights here in the US? The bulbs (with red lenses) in the tail lamps and white or yellow in the headlamps that come on in the first (and second) position of the light switch? Do the front parking lights and side markers work? They are powered from the CEM, The rear parking lights are powered from the REM. Have you check for any self diagnostic trouble codes? On many occasions a bulb has shorted out and the CEM or REM shut off the power to it until the code was read and erased. Front and rears are circled in green.

 

I have power to the number plate light which comes on aren't they on same wiring

 

The number plate lights are 10/3 in the diagram. That might mean the Light switch module 3/111 is telling the CEM to turn on parking and tag lights. With Vida or a good scan tool you can activate most lights -
