I get a high pitched noise after going through a puddle during slushy wet snow or extremely heavy rains on the passenger side. I was wondering if it is caused by the water cooling a turbo housing and the turbo blade which is still hot and expanded is then scraping the interior wall. I try to reduce the engine rpm and the noise eventually goes away. I do have metal shavings present on the magnetic oil drain plug but that has been for years. Car has 170k and gets 18/ mpg around town. T6 AWD.
