Misfire and oil on spark plugs
XC90 V8 threw a few error codes indicating multiple cylinders misfiring. Opened it up and found the spark plugs in cylinders 4 and 6 sopping wet in motor oil. Anyone know how oil got there? What should I be looking to fix here? Head gasket?

I decided to check and found the top of the valve cover to be a pool of oil, all stuck in the crevasses, so I had to dry it up then I proceeded to remove ignition coils. Coil 2 was bathing in oil. Coil 3 had a small bit of oil at the bottom, around the spark plug, but was generally clean. I decided to get a full set of plugs and a replacement coil for #2. Brakleen'ed everything with plugs out, installed new plugs, and new coil. Fired it up, it obviously too alot of cranks to blow out the brakleen, but it still idled lumpy and made the thudding noise when you pull away onto the road. Bizarre, and I hate it because it's loud and awkward when I have Uber/Lyft riders in the car.
I'm subscribing to this thread because I just spent $100 on parts that made zero difference.
