Otherwise how can you explain that my 2004 XC90 2.5L only agrees to sing when it's hot and dry? :-)

Seriously - The stereo and the entire console only works in the summer when it's really hot and dry - as soon as it gets cold we are out of music and my amazing wife starts crashing in reverse into all sort of things since there is no reverse beeping sounds...
Last year I bought a replacement console and spent a whole day replacing it just to find out that the exact same issue continued = the console is fine.... attached a couple of photos
I'm about to install new reverse sensors but would much rather get this fixed and also have a working radio instead of a Bluetooth speaker....
The prize to the person coming up with the soultion is my old console which works just fine - you just pay for the shipping! :-)
