Mysterious Steering Whine Inside Cabin Volvo XC90 D5 (2007)
Hi everyone,
I have a 2007 Volvo XC90 D5, and Im experiencing a strange noise when turning the steering wheel left and right. The sound is only noticeable inside the cabin, its hard to explain the noise but it kind of resembles a supercharger whine (but its not).
-Steering performance feels normal, and the power steering fluid level is fine.
- The sound is not clearly audible from the engine bay, only from inside the car
Has anyone else experienced this issue on an XC90 D5? Could it be something unrelated to the power steering? Any suggestions or known fixes would be greatly appreciated!
