Hi to all,Great forum you have here, I've been checking it out for a week or so,ever since my wife bought an 04 XC90 T6 AWD with 75,000 miles.
I didn't think I would be asking for help so soon,BUT........
I went for a ride this afternoon and the check engine light came on and it is idling very rough, it's acting like a fouled plug, but I know nothing about Volvos.
I have an appointment to drop it off at the local Volvo dealer on Moday morning, but I just wanted to know what the Volvo pros thought.
Also the drivers power seat stopped working at the same time, just makes a clicking sound. Could this be related to the rough idle problem?, sounds weird, but they seemed to happen at same time.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

I doubt it is related to the idle problem.

It might have a coil pack that went bad.

You were right, it was a coil, and the seat needed a control module.
I'm really glad we bought a warranty( we only had the car 8 days when all this happened), Between the coil and power seat module, the bill was almost $1,000.
