Hi all, a few months ago my wife got an excellent 2008 XC90 to replace a Honda Pilot that was totaled (no one hurt fortunately). The XC90 is a great vehicle. I bought and installed the Volvo bluetooth adapter (the one sold by Volvo dealers). I followed all the install directions carefully. It works but there is a whistling sound that the person on the other end of the call can hear when using bluetooth. Is this a known issue with the Volvo kit? I put the microphone where the directions said (rear view mirror), I wouldn't think it is feedback? It is really annoying, especially after paying $400 for it (I needed the extra wiring adapter because of the pass. floor mounted amp). thanks much for any info.

Ours works fine. Callers hear us loud and clear. Was dealer installed though.
