New Volvo owner here
Hello Everyone
I am a new Volvo owner and hoping to learn from this forum, from what I have read and questions I have asked my service center and according to them there is not really much I can do or add to this unit unless, unless just interior extras, extras for my trailer hitch, or cargo carried on the top.
Now my question is, can we install the oil catch can on the XC90? I have one on my GMC with the LS1 engine and we really seems to be doing a great job keeping the top of the engine cleaned out.
I did try using the search feature in this particular forum with no results so apologies if this topic have been beaten to death.
Here is the Volvo I purchased:
XC90 T6 AWD Inscription
Crystal White Metallic
Maroon Brown Nappa Leather
Trailer Hitch Foldable
Subscriber Identity Module
Protection Package Premier
Luggage Covers
21" 8-Multi Spoke Alloy Wheels
Air Quality with Advanced Air Cleaner
4-Corner Air Suspension
Park Assist Pilot
Bowers and Wilkins Premium Sound
360 Degree,Camera
Graphical Head Up Display (HUD)
Climate
Advanced
*Installed at dealer
Volvo running boards
Polestar
Illuminated rear hatch sill

Hey and welcome! Looks like you got yourself one fully fully loaded XC90! Congrats!
We just picked one up about a month ago as well and have been enjoying it. Bought it for the 3rd row really, we're expecting twins and already have a 3 year old so needed more capacity but didn't want to go Yukon large...
There's not much for aftermarket for these and the forums are really quiet. I don't think the demographic buying these are tinkering with them.
Ex - I have yet to find a coolant or oil temp gauge anywhere in the menu, let alone a physical oil dip stick.
At least we get real exhaust tips (Sorta)

Thanks Mr Funk
My dealer warned me before I left with it, there is no oil or trans dipstick. I asked how do you check it then, he said you don't the engine and trans are sealed and be sure to bring it here or a Volvo dealer only for service."Which our first 4 services are free"
I have not been able to find anything for the oil other than the little display that shows it is full and the oil is at 99%.
