currently have Kumhos on my XC90 (235/60/18) which have a few more months in them. I'm happy with them, and they aren't unduly noisy as i know some tyres can be on the XC90. However - i have a chance to buy Pirelli Scorpions or Goodyear Wranglers at a better price. Anyone using them? any comments, particularly on road noise, & on performance too? Also saw a post somewhere that someone had put Wreidstein (sp?) tyres on an XC90 - new - £55 each fitted.. i can't find any at anywhere near that price - but again - any comments on noise etc.. ?

 

i Just replaces all 4 tires with yokohama advan st's knowing my tires where at their end. i also thought the original tires where the cause of the unbelievably loud interior ride, but as it turns out it was not the tires. after replacing the tires i found the ride to still be very noisy, borderline unbearable and i found the noise was caused by a Hub problem which led to a fused rear axle and shattered emergency brake. i would say get it looked at if the noise is overly loud.
