So one day, I filled up gas, then stopped by a store. It was raining EXTREMELY hard. Like, full power windshield wipers, but still driving slow cause it was impossible to see. I come back to the car after the store, but the remote lock wasn't working. So I manually unlock it, start it up. Only the "check engine" light comes on, but none of the needles on the dash move, the radio doesn't turn on. BUT the headlights do, the car starts up no problem, the brake lights and turn signal works. The taillights however do not.

Stopped by a trustworthy mechanic who ran the DTC and these are the codes that came up. He did it twice, but was extremely busy for the day and just simply handed me these papers, and I am very confused. It just seems like the DTC is not active in half of the car? I have an appointment with a dealership later this week, but wondering if anyone had some similar problems or helpful information?? Maybe some projected repair costs?? I just graduated uni and am very short on cash at the moment, so I am slightly nervous.

It would help to know what Volvo you have.

Check the battery checked. And check for blown fuses
