Oil cooler replacement 3.2L SI6
Hi there. I am changing out my engine oil cooler. Backstory: SUV started getting oil in the coolant, the coolant is/was disappearing, but I have not seen a drip. Car started overheating, was getting maintenance error messages, low coolant messages and car would sometimes "whine". There is no coolant in the oil. I did have an issue with car not having any "pull" like at take-off when it got hot. I dont know if it is the transmission... I also got a "Power Level" error message. I just bought this 2008 volvo, the guy bypassed the heater core. I dont know how to get to the oil cooler to change it. Do I try and take the passenger side headlight off/out to make room to get to the oil-housing/oil cooler? Or do I try and take off the front and radiator? Or do I have to take out the steel brush guard to access below. I don't have much experience working on cars, if I said something incorrectly..sorry.
