I have been searching high and low for any information how to remove and install the outer door window trim as shown in the attached picture. The piece looks to be a metal face plastic piece that just clips in place do I need to remove the entire inner door panel to gain access or it can this be done by Simply rolling the window all the way down and pop in the old one out and pop in the new one in?? I’m extremely hesitant to remove the interior door panel acids perfectly sealed from the factory and have had problems with reinstalling inner door panels and not having a gap or broken clips etc. etc. any advice would prove helpful.

You can see the rubber is completely dry rotted and the entire seal needs to be replaced.
