I have an '06 XC90. Whenever you turn the car on or open the passenger door, the power mirror on the passenger side rotates up so you're looking at the sky and I have to manually move it back down to normal every time. Its more of an annoyance than anything but I would like to fix it. I was resetting my windows last night as the auto-up feature would go all the way up and then back down to where it was. I figured taking out the fuse to fix the windows might fix the mirror too, but it didn't. Any thoughts as to why it does this and how I can stop it? IDK if the mirror settings are tied to the memory setting for the seat like they are in my Town Car or if the memory is just for the seat, but I reset the seat anyways just in case and that didn't do anything either. My seat control module is a bit bashed up, missing memory buttons, etc. (previous owner) so the memory has never worked or been able to be set/changed in the couple months I've had it and I plan to replace the module next week. Any help or thoughts are appreciated. TIA!
