I have a new 2017 XC90. My driving patterns always run down the batteries in my cars, so I like to keep them hooked up to a trickle charger at home my my garage.

Is there a way I could easily plug in and disconnect a trickle charger while my car is in the garage? Something foolproof for my wife?

Maybe something I could semi-permanently connect to the jump charging points that leads to some sort of socket that ends at the front grille?

I think you would want something weatherproof, so I see that Battery Tender (the Deltran brand) offers several waterproof chargers. One is $37 that seems like a good choice to me. You can just cut off the alligator clips and put on some big ring terminals that would fit on the points you have available. It's designed to be mounted on something, which would be nice.
