I might be buying a used 2004 XC90 but it only comes with 1 Master key (the Fob) and 1 Valet Key (so only 2 keys in total). How many keys do volvos come with (for the 2004 models or models around that era?

Two Key Integrated Remotes (KIR) and one valet key.

 

and they are pricey to replace.

 

I also bought a used XC90. I went to the dealer and got another key end for 45.00 but did not have it synced to the car due to time and the 85.00 for the work. Since Im the only one who drives it I only needed a spare to open it if I locked the keys in the car. I will get it synced to the car soon but need to get the time to do it.
